  • keirin riders won't (be allowed to) race previously crashed frames no matter how light the damage no? - i think its great to have an njs frame that has been raced to the limit, i'm not sure mine ever was - the frame -she's still rideable tho right tababa?

  • I would say the frame itself is rideable, but I reckon there would be plenty of folk who look at the crack along the lug joint and say it's not.

    The fork though? I would not feel safe riding that, would be on my mind constantly. Not to mention the fact that the wheel does not sit straight in the fork, there is at least twice as much gap on the left side of the tyre (looking at the frame) than on the right.

    I was totally prepared to accept the damage as it was listed in the ad, I knew that's why it was cheap(ish) at $390, but the fork and the damaged lug are much more serious than the tiny ding in the top tube which was shown, which if anything is much less bad looking in real life.

    Edit: I haven't received a response from NJS Export yet so am going to just sit tight. I am very hopeful they will make things right one way or another.
