I've been thinking about something practical like this for a while, and taking a little inspiration from "NJS training " builds like the nag, but with a nice British steel frame. Meant to be a fairly low budget affair but it rides really well.
I've got some sram s900 levers I may put on at a later date, but I dont mind the tektros, despite their chunkyness.
Love the Argos by the way TM. Crabon Record levers always look awesome on two-brake fixed/SS but R600s/DA 7402 would suit yours I think.
A similarly cheap alternative that I've tried recently are the Condor ones, which are really Tektro, c. £20 and have the nice modern shape like Records.
