Sadly, I'm selling Mr Ron. Bought originally from JD just a few months ago, here: http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/247797/
Pretty sure I paid the full £180 - although If I'm wrong I'll correct the price.
Details:
Effective top-tube: 55cm
Wheels size: 700c
Frame material: Steel! Construction is fillet brazed and lugged.
Condition: B+ No major damage, a few chips to the paint and one notable "man made" dent in drive side chain stay, believed to be put there intentionally to create clearance for chainrings.
Carbon fork with Alu steerer and Campagnolo Chorus Headset. The steerer is 1", quite short and requires a shim for easy stem choice. I can include these parts.
Reason for selling is space. I love this bike, I wish I could keep it but space is at a premium and I don't have room for collectibles. Also, I really need a road bike, more than a fun psuedo TT bike.
Realistically it could be built into a lovely period correct TT bike or a fast starter TT, but I doubt it would ever serve as a seriously competitive frame anymore. Again I have neither time nor budget to do this.
More photos upon request, I would also consider selling the whole bike (price dependant) or any components you see in the pic. As it is it's perfectly functional and good to ride. I'll keep the bike built for now.
TLDR - buy the frame!
No postage. I'm in Dalston and test rides/looking welcome.
Ron Cooper lopro – frame, fork and headset, £160
