  • Carry around a bonnet in your pocket, place bonnet on said offender's head, tie the little bow under their chin, then shit on their bonnet.

    Retro rep

  • Fuck you quotes with your multiple techy versions of how to operate, showing me up as the Luddite I clearly am!

  • Carry around a bonnet in your pocket, place bonnet on said offender's head, tie the little bow under their chin, then shit on their bonnet.

i read this a car bonnet, would still work

  • Tried to give some advice to Jonny Cash on a MTB, who had jumped a number of red lights and drifted left (without looking). Mentioned that maybe they could try looking out for people behind him, and maybe stop at red lights as a life is maybe worth more then the 10 seconds you gain. Got told what's it to do me how he rides. Fair play minimal gains vs life

  • Jonny was given a choice to make. To get to work in time, he either needed to spend thousands on aero wheels, or to jump all the lights. Jonny made his choice.

  • To be fair if he wanted to go faster, maybe getting his bike serviced or infact getting a new bike as it looked like he kept it in the gardern, and take that god dam d-lock from around the seat post as it was just bounce off the back wheel.

  • Draft ALL THE THINGS!

Do you see what I did there?

  • /RIP in peas hluk hogwartz 4 eva in ar ringz

He, alongside Legion of Doom and British Bull dog were my favs. Not sure about some of his policies though...

  • Calling myself out - got angry at a guy in a shitty red polo who blasted his horn at me as I took primary though a mini roundabout on Mayow Road, Sydenham. Inevitably I caught up with him at a red light on Sydenham road and tried to be calm and asked him if he was in a hurry. He said I "should show courtesy to drivers as I was going too slow and holding him up". I told him to fuck off and kicked the side of his car before cycling off. Annoyed that I lost my cool, should have just tried to stay calm and not approach him.

So you brought violence to someone that merely tooted you? What is to stop him kicking the next person he encounters that he feels transgresses him? I know that feeling of losing your cool but to physically lash out...poor form.

  • Yes, poor form. Hence the reason for calling myself out about it, but thanks for reminding me. The view must be great from that high horse.

i've no idea, but he'd be fucking wrong either way.

  • From a practical viewpoint, thumping car/van bodywork is a well known way of enraging drivers to the point of violence, sometimes with the vehicle used as the weapon. At least one video of such consequences has been posted here in the past and I seem to recall something of this kind happening to edscoble.

  • sometimes thumping a car is the best way of letting the fucking mouthbreather behind the wheel know there's other people on the road that aren't surrounded by a ton of metal, glass and plastic. if they want to get shoutyfists after that point, i see that as a seperate issue, and possibly one for the cps to resolve.

What did you expect? A hug and a handjob?

You posted in the "cyclists who behave like a twat" thread, that you are a cyclist who has behaved like a twat.

There were three options available to you:
    i) do nothing;
    ii) explain why you were riding in that position and how cyclists actually reduce congestion;
iii) react in an entirely unwarranted, aggressive and cowardly fashion.

If you don't like people telling you that you have behaved like a twat, then I suggest you stop posting on the internet that you have behaved like a twat.

  • Then again, just to play devil's advocate, marmot did make it pretty clear in his post that he was calling himself out for being a twat. In circumstances where someone's said (to all intents and purposes) 'my bad, I acted like a twat', saying 'you're a twat' is probably redundant. And I believe there is an old saying about greenhouses and stones, and the projectile use thereof.

My name is Will and I am an alcoholic

    Boo!
    You drink too much

Yes, I know, I just said I'm an alcohlic

    You should be ashamed!
    Wanker!
    Alco!

Yeh, that's why I said I was an alcoholic

Shut up! If you don't want to be called a disgusting. drunken bastard don't come in here telling people you're an alcoholic.

  • I would laugh but there are 3 bottles of rum on this table and another 3 in the kitchen.

One of them is a 12yo El Dorado, otoh.

  • Do you see what I did there?
ha sorry was tired from work very nice, wernt thinking right after 12hrs and 4 pints!

  • Sorry will must spread before I can give any more darkrep.

Is the singlespeeder I saw in Kingston this morning on here? Edged in front of a scaffolding lorry at the lights to the one way system, then once the lorry and I had gone past you drafted me?

Not the worst riding ever, but you should probably think twice about the value of getting to the front of the traffic.

Is time to start calling out tall ponies?
