I haven't found that at all. Battery life is a little poor though.
I lost one to the wheels of a bus and haven't used the bracket since! I must be unlucky :(
@Velocio, the Comet can charge off a powered USB hub quite easily. One similar to this can charge four Moon lights no problem and tucks away quite neatly.
Having said that though, I'm looking to replace some sockets in my room with these .
