I got a response from Action Fraud, telling me they could not follow up the case because they did not have enough specific information, like bank account details or transaction numbers - both of which I had given them.
Then two days later I got an email from Colchester police to tell me they had had the case passed to them and were investigating it.
Today I got confirmation from Action Fraud that Essex police were dealing with it. Hopefully their administration is a bit better than AF's. Either way, somebody somewhere is doing something, and Charlie Z Harris is presumably keeping a low profile. I am eagerly awaiting him jumping on here and running his mouth off again.
My saddle still hasn't arrived...
