Trade: Campag 10 speed Veloce ergos for 8 speed ones

Hi all,
As in the title- I have a pair of 10s Veloce ergos (older model) and am looking to trade them for any 8 speed ones by Campag. My Veloces are in excellent nick

I've got a pair of 8 speed Veloce: are yours the 2nd gen. Ergo with round hoods?

Well, they do have round hoods so I guess so. Definitely be interested in trading if yours are in good nick. The only thing is that another chap has made me an offer via PM but haven't heard back from him since yesterday. I don't think he wants the older 10 speeds, but then he has record levers to trade...

If you get a better offer, take it: I don't particularly need your shifters, but I've recently moved from 8 to 10 speed, so definitely won't use mine.

Just to clarify- my intention when mentioning the other offer was to get accross that the very fact that they were considerably better levers meant that it was considerably less likely I'd get them: and so letting you know I'd certainly be up for yours! Anyway, I happen to be gradually building up a Record groupo, so would naturally have them, but TBH, I'm equally set on your Veloces seeing as I'm building up a Veloce kitted bike that I need finishing immediately... The other guy did have first dibs though, so that would probably swing it if you're both interested:)

Thanks for that, but they're Quick Shift so not for me thanks.

Nothing wrong with QS as such, but they need to be mated with a QS front derailleur.

Drop me a line if you want to buy them outright: £50 posted.

QS are they?- righto then. Thanks for the bumps anyway.

Yup, hence the "QS" on the left shifter (QS affected the front derailleur only).

This also means that the right shifter has the Escape mechanism.

They'll be from either 2007 or 2008.

Thanks for clarifying that. Glad I can now avoid any more confusion over this matter seeing as, judging from the speedy reaction to my ad, there would seem to be a fair few people around wanting campag 10 speed shifters. Now Campag fans using the above 07/08 kit please step forward.
Or anyone else who will bump this:)
