Such potential, it's a shame it's in Surrey.
Imagine if the backing was there for a race in the Lake District running into Manchester,
It would have to be a bloody long race, with a long flat run for the last 150km.
I actually thought the parcours was quite good this year for animating the race.
Ha! Yeah, it could start in Manchester and finish up Scarfel, via Blackpool obvs. ;-)
The Surrey course was pretty clever purely for the racing with early splits. Doesn't make me want to cycle in Surrey, that's all.
