Conti 4 seasons 28s are great , I recently rode 2000km in 13 days on mixed terrain on them , one p*nct*re, which was mostly down to me not paying attention at the end of a very long day.
I use them for daily commuting and they are fast and grip well in the wet.
IMHO definitely worth a pop.
