I think this has been said elsewhere but this doesn't work for me on Safari on a mac. It takes me to the top of the page with the first unread post, not the actual post.
Works as described on Chrome though.

I don't want to pile in but this is the same for me on the newest Safari release. I always go to the top of the page, not the latest comment.
Other than that it's lovely, and having worked for the guy who originally proposed the whole massive text thing, I heartily endorse it.

If it thinks you haven't read anything... that's the first post.
You can force it to think differently, by heading to the front page and clicking the "Mark Everything Read" button. That marks everything read, except for private messages.
