92-95 Record groupset
Gonna get a top of the range 90's steel frame.
Still not decided on the ultimate frame to aim towards.
Pinarello Gavia/Colnago Master, still looking
Still learing about 90's steel, thing about 90's is straight forks, not too fond of'em. -

Colnago and Pinarello bikes are really nice bikes, but you will see them on every corner. Have a look at Tommasini bikes. I adore the Tecno frame.............well one day ;)

true, custom Tecno frame would be up there , just had a quick look on ebay for a tommasini frame and only one came up!
I'd still be mad on a red master, they're just the beez neez.
even a Gavia frameset is unbelievably rare and when it does pop up it costs at least 1000 bucks.

You're hung up on Italian steel, mostly too expensive. Just pick up a nice dutch or english frame made of a great tubeset, they go for peanuts, even ones by top notch builders.
I got a fantastic Duell here a couple of years ago for £150! It's an absolutely brilliant ride. Straight forks and everything.
