Really enjoying my TECC v-scope. Apart from the fact thet the coil runs out (and so tastes nasty) pretty quickly. Lasts 2-3 days. Am vaping at 3.6-8 setting hoping for more longevity. (Instead of 4.6-8). Still short life. Any tips? Longer lasting coil recommendations. Will adjusting the air flow help?

Just moved onto a dripper set up the strength of all my liquids are REALLY too strong! anyone experienced the same? The taste is amazing the clouds lovely but headache headache headache! I gather if you use 24mg in a tank you need 8, 9, 10mg in a dripper? advice needed

Some poor cunt just blew themselves up. Be careful vapers

I saw that headline. Poor sod, horrible thing to happen but it's been sensationalised slightly, for whatever reason. It was charging and malfunctioned (this can happen with any device, I'm fairly certain mobile phones do this on a scarily regular basis), exploded/caught fire and ignited the oxygen supply he was using. I can imagine it would have been unpleasant for the battery just to explode but on its own hat is not going to kill someone.

Yep. Try diluting with some PG/VG. I find all the shop bought liquids are way too strong on a dripper, mixing it down gives you more liquid for your cash too. I think the reason you're getting headachy is you're making far more vapour in a dripper typically (lower ohms, dual coils, etc), so your concentrations are much higher, or something, and you're OD'ing on Nic.

cheers boags, maybe it's because it's quite new in the UK? having watched a few U.S youtubes,it seems common knowledge that a dripper uses 50 percent less at least nicotine levels compared to standard tanks. The serious side for me is a month tomorrow off death sticks was jeopardised by trying dripping, while it must be said I loved the whole thing apart from the sick headache and burning eyes!. Glad to say now resolved. If anyone wants the Smok micro dripper let me know would swap for a 10ml 'Digby's Gunpowder' or a standard Kanger 3Td!
p.s is it within the rules to start a top 10 liquids?? here's mine, (haven't tried that many but found the standard petrol station, newsagent stuff didn't make the grade)
1) Digby's 'Gunpowder'
2) Uk ecig wembley 'Tobacco Royale'
3)Druid's Brew 'Bread of Heaven'
4)Digby's 'Hooligan'
5)?
6)?
7)?
8)?
9)?
10) ? -

Honeywood tastes like fucking potpourri... Fucking dried stinky rose petals.
First puff is amazing... Then it's granny's house...
Vanilla is not bad. Stronger than the coffee. -

Everything Works. But the battery section doesnt light if its fully screwed on. In fact to get it to function it needs to be a really loose. Will upgrading the clearomiser thingie help?
Is it better to Upgrade the Whole thing?Cheers for any advice.

Could just be the way the two ends of the coil wire are insulated in the microcoil. They're usually separated by a rubber grommet and if it is sitting too proud, tightening the battery right down distorts the grommet causing a short. If its the type with replaceable micro coils just get a few spares. Chances are the next one will be fine and the one after just as bad. Not outstanding QC in such cheap and disposable items.
See one of my recent posts, had the same issue with the first coil in my Aerotank mini. Has happened a couple of times. But then other coils haven't been a problem.

The grommet is the white bit you can see in this photo. One end of the wire sits outside it contacting the outer metal sleeve, the other end runs inside it to contact the hollow metal pin in the centre. The metal pin is quite loose so gets pushed in by the battery, squashing the white rubber. If you get me.

That makes sense.
I'll look at it tonight.
Was thinking of upgrading the cheap clearomiser bit anyway.
Battery seems fine for now. Thanks for the help Stevo_com. In my mind I'm repping you*.

No euph, no more help.

In that case replace 'repping' with the verb of your choice...
Might order a mini aerotank anyway.

Yes you've got to smash the CE4 to bits imeadiately! any tank like the Kanger T3D will add a lot more puffing pleasure, the Wembley UK e cig place will do you a deal for a genuine tank and 5 coils for a tenner all in, TBH the battery is probably ok! IMHO lots of Kangers use the same internal coils so whichever style you go for doesn't really matter, whatever you like the look of! If you go for a dripping set up doen't forget to massively reduce the nicotine content otherwise you feel sick....'Nic Sick' and have burning eyes

I've been vaping 12mg DIY no flavour liquid the past few weeks. 80% VG. Nice mellow sweetness and doesn't get boring, funnily enough. Recommended!
Also, still got stuff up for grabs on page 43. TS bought a couple batteries and the Kick. I built a dual coil on the Origen dripper (around 0.8ohms) and it works great with the Roller and an 18350. Pic below showing size against an 18650 senybor.

flavourless actually sounds appealing...
Can it be bought or do you have to mix it yourself?
-
• #1099
It's cheaper to mix yourself, makes so much more sense.
This + 2 of these = 250ml's of 12mg juice for £18. You can get nic pre-mixed from loads of places, but this is the cleanest I've used, some of them taste a bit like tobacco and I'd avoid like the plague 'totally wicked'.You'll need a syringe too, and some bottles, but you can wash and re-use these.

Mixing your own juice is so cheap, only problem I've had is letting the juice steep for long enough... I mixed 8 x 20ml bottles on Monday and I'm halfway through my last 20ml bottle from the last batch... This last bottle steeped for over two weeks and the flavour is fantastic... The colour changed from totally clear to a gorgeous honey gold...
Do it, Iain... I have loads of plastic bottles, I'll sell you some for cheaps...
Apollo, pmed. The roller would work really nice with the Origen.. I'll build a coil for Sunday for you and you can try it out :-)
