is there a standard width for road forks? if i wanted to fit some cyclocross tyres 700c 31-35 would i need to change the fork as well.
I guess you don't mean axle width? They should be a standard 100mm.
Clearance will definitely vary and if it's a modern road bike, you're unlikely to fit anything larger that a 28c on them.
