I'm trying to buy a NOH Garmin from Handtec but every time I try to check out the website crashes. Annoying.

I think I must of selected the wrong one. Cheers

Anyone else having problems trying to sign in to Garmin Connect? I have tried on and off since 19:00 and the page loads nothing. There must have been issues this morning as well as my morning commute wasn't uploaded.

Working ok here.

• #1308
Damn. Still not working for me. Even tried reinstalling the app on my phone. That fails at the T&Cs agreement bit - claims to not be able to find T&C webpage even though I'm accepting them.

The new version of Connect freaked me (couldn't see any of my uploads) out so I reverted to the old version of it.

Trying to download todays file from my Garmin and getting a very frustrating issue.
I plug the USB cable in and the Garmin powers up - every time, tried two cables on three computers (one Mac, to PC's).
If you turn it off whilst plugged in it just goes to "charging" and doesn't show as a mass storage device.
So - impossible to get the data off. Any ideas?

Is it too low on charge? I have had the same behaviour with Kindles in the past where they will not function without a minimum amount of juice.

60% battery. It updated itself (god-fucking-damn-you Garmin Express) to software release 2.7 when plugged into the Mrs PC yesterday, and now the laptop won't recognise it as a "known" device.
I can't roll the software release back as it won't mount as a drive.

Windows says "One of the USB devices attached to your computer has malfunctioned blah blah".
-
• #1314
And on the Garmin it says "this accessory is not supported"
-

Uninstall its drivers and then try it again, letting it install the drivers once more.

Is it possible to show a 'Proper' Average Speed rather than just Moving Average?
-
• #1317
Garmin did like a factory reset randomly while I left it to charge. Now "working" but fails to upload rides when I stop/save them.
Busted needs to be returned?
-
• #1318
Have you tried plugging it in while pressing down the 'Reset' button to force it into mass storage mode? Works for me on my old Edge 800, which is otherwise useless.
-
• #1319
As a side question to this, why does GC not show a graph of average speed against distance, rather than instantaneous? Would be much more useful for steady runs, races etc in my opinion.

I have a garmin HRM, which has started telling me that I've died whenever I go for a run. How long are the batteries meant to last on these things?
-
• #1321
From my experience 2 years or so.Depends a little on usage.
-
• #1322
Hmm - I've had mine less than a year though I use it 3-4 times per week. I'll try changing the battery, otherwise I guess it'll be yet another garmin product that I have to send back...

Garmin 510 seems to think it's a nĂ¼vi 2465LM according to the registration email when Garmin asked me to reset it via PC... defo broked.

Yes way-pointing from Cph to Warsaw on Garmin 200&500. I created the routes in ridewithgps and exported as .tcx and in to the new something folder into the garmin file tree (USB plugged).
