I was having the same problem with my iphone constantly needing me to log in. I turned off all the restrictions on cookies and logged in again until I got that whole 'Would you like to stay logged in for a month?' thing. Then I turned the cookie restrictions back on. So far, so good. It did randomly log me out last night, but when I came back this morning it knew who I was again.

Actually, sod AdBlock, it blocks too much stuff. Minimalist is where it's at.
Here's some code to change fonts to sans serif and remove only avatars (leaving the banner image intact):
{"version":"0.6.8","preferences":{"isEnabled":"true","isDebugging":"false"},"modules":[{"name":"LFGSS Styles","author":"Drakien","includes":".lfgss.com","version":"1.0.0","isEnabled":true,"options":[{"description":"Change comment font to Akkurat","isEnabled":true,"tab":"Forum Pages","section":"Comments","type":"checkbox","fields":[],"head":{"css":[".comment-item-body, blockquote p, .reply-box textarea{"," font-family: Dax-Light, sans-serif;"," font-size: 15px","}",""]},"load":{}},{"description":"Remove Avatars","isEnabled":true,"tab":"Forum Pages","section":"Avatars","type":"checkbox","fields":[],"head":{"css":["img.gravatar {","visibility:hidden","}"]},"load":{}}],"index":1,"about":["Version 3.0.2"]}]}
You can import this into #Minimalist and edit to your heart's content.Any chance of an idiot's guide for this? I have added minimalist in Chrome, where do I copy and paste the code to?

I think they fixed this yesterday because about mid day I got the same message (after logging in and out all morning)
-
• #658
That would make so much more sense. Nothing I do ever fixes anything.

We haven't changed anything on the Persona side. I think the "remember me for X" only appears if Persona thinks there are multiple accounts being used in the same browser.
So what's probably happened is Persona asked you to log in and detected an expired/old session, prompting the "remember me" screen.
@Mule🚴 when you say logging in all morning, was Persona logging you out completely (asking for your password again) or was it just LFGSS?

Sure!
- Click Minimalist button in top left of Chrome.
- Click Dashboard button.
- Click "Data".
- Paste above code into the Import/Export panel.
- Click Import.
That should create a "module" called "LFGSS Styled" which you can turn on in Minimalist (it might turn on by default, I can't remember) and then when you refresh the LFGSS site the style changes will be applied.
You can edit the module to have a look at the style changes and change the font yourself, if you looooove CSS.
- Click Minimalist button in top left of Chrome.

There are lots of iPhone users on the Islington forum and some had problems because of cookie settings.
Edit: looked through your comments, the logging out thing is related to cookies. Have you tried changing to "Never" block cookies: support.apple.com/kb/TS4207 ?
If you have, it could well be a bug in Persona or how we've integrated it, so any more detail is helpful.Ok, I have made the change to "never", and will report back.

Although it didn't give me any options as to a time-span for remaining logged in, so I suspect it didn't work.
What's the mission statement for Microco.sm?

I am not being logged out that often by safari and persona arguing.

Still go to solve the excessive margins above and below a blockquote but the following CSS tweaks makes the site use much less whitespace (and much more readable for me anyway).
.comment-item { padding: 0; }
.comment-item-author { padding-bottom: 0; }
.comment-item-body { margin-bottom: 0; }
.comment-item-body p { margin-bottom: 0; } -

The forum uses just under a third of my desktop, slightly offset from the middle.

That's fine.

I prefer white as its better for work.

Actually, it's almost exactly the same size as Twitter, but doesn't make any use of the deadspace to either side in order to host "you may want to follow" and account stuff - which would seem to be a logical way of trying to make better use of screen real-estate than the current setup.
