I have put a space in my username, using " ". Is that supposed to be allowed, or should I change it to an underscore quick before I get banned ?

Perfectly fine.

Though I'd strongly recommend usernames start with a few ASCII letters and you put the unicode at the end. Otherwise no-one could ever @ you.

No, because usernames need to be unique.

It doesn't bother me what you have... the forum will continue to work. But you may find no-one can send you PMs, or @mention you, and stuff like that. And if you have any special permissions on forums then you might lose them if they are edited.

So it's like being off the grid. Pretty sweet.

Ah, interesting, so people would have to write my username as "Oliver" and then " " and then "Schick"? <--somewhat predictably, the " " didn't show up as the code I typed. Earthloop must have done something clever there.
