I think this was said on the last page (I skimmed) but didn't this used to be 'Readers Wives Anti-Porn'? A place to post old bikes which you look back on and wonder, "Dafuq was I thinking?"
-
• #504
Yes, it should be taken as that still.

I built the bike up to look ugly, never actually rode it like that.
Riiiiight ...

It's nearly 6 weeks since my accident now. Some kind soul has lent me a trainer. Perhaps time to try and get my legs back...

you'll want a turbo tyre on that, a normal one will get shredded very quickly.

Currently recovering from a broken collarbone - if I thought I could get that semi-worn-out $30 tyre off and replace it with an old one from my stash without causing myself severe pain or injury, I would.
As it is, I don't care if that tyre gets ruined. -

I was intending to strip and polish the cranks, but the powdercoat seems pretty tough and I'm lazy. I have no excuse for the pedals. So much for a classy, muted colour scheme.

What the funk is going on with that saddle?
It like M C Eshers
My first (and current) road bike. Still don't know if the frame's too small for me, or just an odd geometry. Any stem longer than 80mm seems massive. I'm 5' 11" and at present it fits me with no aches or back problems. Aluminium gets a bit wearing after 80 miles though.
Tyres are 700x25c, and I get left behind on long descents. Nice on the way up though, and I need the grip for some of the trail-like roads in the hills of LA.
