first tried to post that^ and it just span for a while. reloaded and it was fine.

also I can no longer use the forum on my phone, Persona doesn't play with it. which is not very surprising as it's a rather old web app, but still, sadface.

There are a few small issues on mobile Safari at the moment. I find it slower than vBulletin was. URLs and (sometimes) code keep overflowing the fixed width view. The pagination buttons at the bottom of the page don't align properly either.

Also, clicking the replied-to username doesn't scroll to the post, it seems to scroll to the top of the page. Same as when you click the through to a thread that has new posts.

Overall though, it feels very solid. Good work. We'll get over the quoting thing. I'm more concerned about Persona log-in being a barrier for a lot of people – apart from suspicion/undesirability of allowing third-party cookies, if they're blocked (as per most defaults) then currently it's not failing in a way that people can understand, or work out how to fix it. Might it be possible to detect when this is happening, and provide a status message to help the user resolve it?

Lack of New Posts button at page bottom is even more annoying on mobile.

yeah I liked the New Posts and Subscribed Threads links, and the shortcut menu at the bottom of the thread was great too... less scrolling.

Only two ? :) I work on them, so yeah I got many.

Ok, the preview doesn't actually shows the final result either.

Who's done the new design and ux? So far I'm very impressed. Lovely work on typography and details. Everything feels intuitive and balanced, and the hierarchies of the pages is great. Information is dense, but not hard to take in.
