But threads which I'm up to date with are on the list. Wouldn't that be the case for all the threads?
-
• #15278
Not if they haven't had a post since the changeover, as I understand it.
-
• #15279
Only for those, that have been updated since the switch.

VB - my old email address is the one this profile is registered to. is there a way to change it?
-
• #15281
Yeah, it will populate with those threads as they are updated, like the old subscribed had the 'read' threads in grey. Unread in new forum means a yellow 'new' button

is it possible to display more discussions in 'following'? I now only see 1 page, containing just a few discussions I'm following. there's no links to 2.. 3.. 4.. >> etc.
'endless scrolling' like the strava enhancement suite for chrome would be ace

A side effect of the changover is hiding subscribed threads that haven't had a post since the changeover. It will come right as more threads get posts

The General Section still contains the introductory language:
For general bike-related chatter; also includes the Rider Down forum to document road traffic incidents involving cyclists
on the home page. As Rider Down now has its own section, should this not be changed?

Links don't seem to open in new tabs (for me).

• #15288
^ same here, could of course ctrl+click but would be nice as standard

The reply function really sucks, Velocio. To follow a conversation of others it's very difficult. It's maybe more clean but I see it like a torture for the readers.
And if someone reply to a post 5 pages back what we do we start a treasure hunting? ;)

• #15290
The original post is linked at the top of the reply. the post number links to a reply chain...

Check the FAQ.

• #15292
You won't need to, there's tools handy to find the comment and show all answers made to it.
Just click on the links. -

Some nice AJAXy overlays would be nicer, avoid jumping around so much.

Getting thread started four years ago by in conversation list where there used to be last post by . Which I liked more.
-
• #15295
I like it! Feels clean and fresh, like new pants.
-
• #15296
I agree.
We haven't got to the AJAX stuff we want to do. i.e. automatically loading new replies via web sockets, expanding to show replies and parents, etc.
-
• #15297
Agree 100%.
Also, if one quotes by highlighting text (which doesn't seem to work for me), how does one quote on a phone?
-
• #15298
Small thing, but at the moment when I enter a thread/conversation it takes me to the top of the page (or the top of the page where the first new post is). It would be nicer if it actually took me to the first new post in the thread. Is this possible in the new world?
-
• #15299
It should do this.
If it's not... go to the home page, hit "Mark Everything Read", and it sure as hell should start doing this.

It should do this.
So quote works on my phone but not laptop.
Huh.
Can't login on Chrome. I'm stuck using shitty Firefox at the moment. Please help...
