Someone moved the gnome.

The red bits have become pink.
Great job. I like it. So does the gnome.
-

Cheers. It's Flouro pink but couldn't get it to show that well in the pic.
Love how all the other minor changes have been picked up too, although that's not strictly a saddle bag, just a Topeak Alien, cable tied to the saddle/post.

Have the saddle been raised 3mm?
-
• #95906
That's actually quite nice

Finally got both 853 Donohues on the road, loving the road bike apart from an issue with the stem creaking like mad, working on a fix for that, but open to suggestions. Hadn't ridden the fix since last year, due to various injuries not been riding fixed much but hoping to get back on it. It was absolutely filthy, so have given it a bit of a scrub and a new chain... Couple more tweaks to make but main change the fabled Woundup track forks... Maybe one day I'll be able to afford to get them painted to compliment each other (would love pearl white with purple decals for the fix and metallic purple with white decals for the road) but for now just happy to be riding them.

Are you certain the bar clamp diameter is the same as the stem?
-
• #95910
Yep, 26 and 26! Apparently though ti stems are know for losing their shape a little... Bars were slipping, put carbon paste, still slipping, tightened up enough to stop slipping, creaks like hell... Considering cleaning the clamp area and wrapping in skateboard grip tape in the hope that it would sort it... Just need to get to a skate shop...

No, ditch stem and get a new one.

But it's so pretty.
If anyone has a 110mm italmanburi / eclypze or pro chrome though I would really appreciate it.

Definitely a gnome. Got it for £5 from Asda

I think you'd find it a bit thick. Even if you swapped to a 25.4 bar, I don't know that you'd get the bar through the stem.
Could the creaking be the bolt maybe? You got plenty of lubricant on the bolt seat/thread? Don 't know what the appropriate lubricant would be for use with ti mind. -

Will pm you rodolfo...
Bolts and washers and everything are excessively greased up (I did this in hope it would resolve creak)

Ah, fair

Double Dons are ace. I beat you to it but yours are definitely more matchy. I only just noticed they both have seatstay decals too, very nice.
-
• #95919
You did beat me, although mine are same size as each other (;
Top, down, head and seat tube all the same, bb higher on fixed which gives the sloping TT, but the stays are very different, slender on the fix and beefy on the road, with interesting profiling on the chain stays and rolled seat stays ... They really are great frames.

• #95920
Seriously awesome, and double Wound-Ups!

The tasty Look is tasty.
There is some sort of egg sack on the saddle though. That'll not get through customs if outside the EU.
It got either a cut steerer, or one more spacer under the stem.
