I had a riot round Regents Park this morning.
Everyones waiting at the red lights next to the Mosque going counter-clockwise. Lights turn green and it's the usual hell for leather time trial to the next set. A couple of Type A, heart attack fodder MAMILS make an early break away, one of them swings up the banking when he realises he has company (centre of the road), they start wanking each other off at this point, sizing up one anothers TT bikes and Rapha goods. I can't be arsed to join in the fun so take a steady pace on my own behind them. They round the corner at the bottom to be confronted by the ped red light. One of the breakaway, the weaker of the two judging by the kit, senses the opportunity and harmlessly jumps the red to take a healthy lead. Type A goes balistic "It's a RED LIGHT, it means stop" He was still hurling abuse at him when I came up behind and jumped it. It was so funny. "Oh ANOTHER ONE" he shouts, "It's Still RED!". " I do what I fucking like mate. Are you the Police? No well piss off then" I hurled back it him. I could sense him behind me trying desperately to catch up but the poor fucker got caught at the next set of reds.
I think he's probably had a heart attack by now or he has taken it out on some poor fucker at work.
