• I'm in the process of salvaging an old Faggin frame. 2 of 3 cable guides on the tt have broken off, so I got the idea to try and get the brake cable to run through the tt, as I'm not going for a period correct build anyway and it just looks nicer in my opinion.

    I did the research and I'm not too worried about drilling etc, but the problem is that I'm not able to braze the guides in. I know about the plastic cable guides, but I don't like their looks in combination with a steel frame.

    Now I do have a little experience with fiberglass / epoxy, so I was wondering if anyone could shed a light on using that to get these things to stay in place?
