You and your desire to overwhelm the world with chrome Langster.

Ed dude, the heart wants what it wants... let it be.
it's just another semi aero uncomfortable alu hipster frame.. but that's his call

Get Bianchi Super Pista and be done. It's a good frame,
the Fuji Track Pro too flexible for the street. MASH is also a good frame. By the way ive had experience riding the bikes mentioned. -
• #31
i've given a couple of them a whirl - to be honest i'm probably going to wind up with a non-mash vigorelli as it's certainly going to save me 200 sheets that could be well spent on better hubs than i'd spend regularly or a nicer crankset.
haven't tried a mash but don't think i want to (faux lopro), and the bianchi concept i've tried was way, way too big for me.

the Fuji Track Pro too flexible for the street
Are you sure about that?
-
• #33

Are you sure about that?

Out of interest where did the Fuji track pro flex, as a flexy alu frame is not a common complaint?.
-
• #38
Irrespective to if a fuji pro flexes or not, as it probably isn't that bad due to materials - which of these is best for riding on the road - mostly in respect to toughness - ala - damage from riding it on surfaces and in manners that the frame was not designed for?
-
• #39
which of these is best for riding on the road
Is this a trick question?
-
• #40
Very clever - did you miss the end of my post where I alluded to the fact that I know its not designed to ride on the road... I merely would like to know what alu, track frame (I'm aware of the irony) would be best structurally to ride on the road?
Why on a forum with such vast seas of bullshit and jokes do I expect a sensible answer to a simple question?
Is this a trick question?

Heh.
I don't think I've heard any report about the frame mentioned above breaking on the road, if they're strong enough for track, road should be fine, especially the Cinelli MASH and Dodici which seemed to be aimed for the fixie skidder.
Unless you're going to do trick on them that is. -

Hey guys, this reply is a tad after the last post on here but is the nearest thread, relevance wise, to what I'm looking for. Basically, has anyone in the last 2 years found a reasonably priced method of getting a Super Pista in the UK? Whether it be a UK retailer or slightly cheaper than usual international courier. I'm looking to get a Super Pista and thus far, the cheapest i can get one is about £760 (frameset, shipping, import tax comb.). Any information greatly apprieciated :)
Happy riding! -

Saw a 57cm for sale yesterday at the track in the Bianchi celeste green with forks and headset very clean for £300.

The track? Any more info? A 57cm in Celeste is a little bit perfect for what I want...
