Hoping to make this, but I've brought back a terrible Balkan headcold from my hols and am feeling pretty shite. Fingers crossed a good night's sleep sorts things out a bit. Will be on the train if so.

• #732
will be there if a planned meet-up at the local Cycle Works finishes early enough..
.. gotta ride over this bicycle for dismantling (!) - frame is kinda scuffed, needs passing on or re-painting.. and maybe the wheelset's shoulders are a colour-clash (!) - they are destined for a new-build single-speed, :-)

Sorry all, I still feel terrible. My ride into work this morning felt like I had a tesco bag over my head so I'm going to have to give it a miss. Fuckity fuckballs.

Can't make this - on call tonight and there are likely to be problems that need fixing :(

Just to confirm, this is starting from Chingford. Do not go to Roydon henryhobson.
Unless you want to, you are free to go where you like of course, but we will be at Chingford (if I can get my work finished in time).

nice seeing you on the way out jim! From east beers thread
#snitch:-)
dear-me, appreciate the love, but apologies for seeming snitchiness (!),
to explain, was at the local Cycle Works until about 7pm.. (a more realistic assessment would have deemed it to have lasted this long in any case..), so would've been too late to go home then saddle-up onto Chingford.. (as was feeling too tired anyways - possibly from jogging at the park earlier, kinda expending some energies expecting to miss-out of the ride last night!).. walking through Victoria Park, feeling thirst for a beer my mind pondered the possibility to attend Easts, hence posted my intention.. but then later on,
actually.. it's bed time! Zzz Norths 6th bday Tues if any of yer fancy putting down a Death TT lap time... :-)
(!)
**looking forward to a return to the simple life.. **after.....
- this Yellow Pennine becomes (coloured-matched) Dura Ace geared,
- this Green Santini is passed-on either in whole (ideally as its built-up real nice and rides well - albeit too small for me), or in parts....
- a new Blue Cinelli frame that takes modern-parts becomes my TNRC/WNKR/DD/long-evening rides single-speed, :-)
:-)
eta any time from w/b 11-Aug
until then, apologies in advance for continued verboseness (!!)
