those frames are incomparable.
alu - carbon
"road" - "track
classic tubes - funky tubesare you going to ride it on the road? then the fxe is the best and sensible choice

I know they are not comparable. I am going to ride it on the road 42k every day. Tre Pro-lite frame I found comes without fork so I will add a road aero fork drilled for brake. I would cut the fork a bit longer for a more upright position. I really want something with an extra Oomph factor for my daily ride!

Shouldn't this thread be in current project?
Hi Guys! After many years of specialized fixed frames, it is time to move on to a new frame. I have some nice parts on my current bike to transfer to the new one: Zipp 170 grams carbon barss, Ritchey carbon stem, handmade (by myself) wheels, specialized toupe carbon saddle, etc.
I have two requirements: 1. lightweight, 2. Front brake
Shall I go for the Dolan FXE aluminium frameset, which can also take mudguards and will be nice especially in winter days?

On the other hand, shall I go for the Pro-Lite carbon track frame that makes me feel like “Saturday night fever” every day?

Any other ideas, please help!
