My brother (a senior geology lecturer) reckons fracking is no bad thing. I will blindly follow his logic on such matters.
A big part of the issue in the US is that they would no publish what they were actually pumping into the ground along with the water. They instead just said "chemicals", which made everyone don their tinfoil hats immediately.
Fracking in the UK will not be like fracking in the US.
