I agree with privatepatterson to a certain extent - I think the profit precentage is irrelevant though. I think the forum community idea is correct and items should be offered to fellow forum members at below market value but profit / loss does not really come into it. If I paid £70 for a crankset that can now be bought for £25 on sale somewhere I'd offer it at £15 say and If I paid £10 for a vintage chainset worth £100 I'd offer it at £50.
