Cyclocross - CX and SSCX races and training

The ones which replace the rear wheel mean you don't need a turbo specific tyre/wheel/cassette - I am guessing. If your wheel set has tubs then putting a trainer tyre on is a no-go, also.

The large fly-wheel is appealing.

Ah, makes sense. Thanks. I hadn't caught on that it replaced the rear wheel entirely. It's a nice concept.
