Can you ever have too much tape? I've a pair of wheels with, I think, four layers of tape on, which worked fine with a pair of Vittoria XN last week, but the tyres were leaking so I decided to buy a new pair. I've just tried the new ones on the same wheels and can't get them to go up at all.
Is more rim strip the next step?
