What's the correct way to blackout the breaking surface on a Hed3?
I've heard talk of taping it but how? And with what kind of tape etc?
Anyone have close-up pics?

black electrical tape? its stretchy so you can kinda curve it round then put pressure on it as it goes round so no air bubbles.

I masked the wheel except the silver braking surface. Then rattle can it with black.

I'd reccomend this. Put the wheel on your bike, flip the bike upside down, hold the pen on the braking surface and spin the wheel slowly, go over each side a couple of times to make sure there are no silver patches left. Takes about 5 minutes and looks decent!
