The wheel isn't actually for me, I'm in the process of building my first bike. I bought it for the guy who' getting me into this. so apologies if it was in the wrong thread but I'm only just getting the hang of the forum! nonetheless that guy is grumpy as fuck

I haven't read them, using common sense usually suffice. Anyway I am pretty sure there's a rule against offending people.

There's a track version in classifieds on a forum. If I'm right it's alloy, not steel.

Yep you're right, I was misled by those drop-outs which you don't normally find looking so nice in alu
