reporting a post is quite extreme though - you are basically saying you want it removed or moderated or something by flagging it to the moderators.
on the other hand it is also not very effective because it is invisible. you're not going to contribute to the general mood/tone of the forum just by going around flagging stuff. you're not going to get any kind of discussion going.
