  • There does seem to be an endemic flakiness in Norwich, but I think regularity is the problem. Rides are often 'organised' a few days in advance, and have details changed close to the day, so you never get a good idea of what's happening or when.

On the other hand, Jack's rides from the Dandy aren't spectacularly popular yet, but they're consistent in that they're always an evening on the last weekend of the month (I think) and so would make sense as a base for any fixed/non-club rides on here I feel. Jack and I choose to ride in lycra, because it's fun, but there's no onus to comply to that rule, and it's certainly not a race, and the routes could easily be adapted to accommodate pub stops and a more leisurely pace.

I'm waxing lyrical because I basically just want more people to turn up this Sunday, as it's the first ride I'll have been out on in a fortnight!

EDIT - The Dandy Ride sets off from the shop at 17.00 this Sunday, but if you turn up at 16.00, you'll get the added bonus of seeing Kittel crush the Champs Elysees.
