To get the trail somewhat right with a 74 degree HT, i've been looking for a 45mm rake cantilever fork. The Surly Cross-check offers 44mm, but the a-c 400mm will make a gaping hole above the tyre on an übertight SSCX, so I settled on the Columbus Tusk Trekking fork which have the beautiful and unorthodox 390mm a-c and 45mm rake. If the shoe fits, wear it.
