Epic win

Well, even separated cycle lanes, "protected" from the cars by a curb won't make you safe.
The problem is the drivers failing to spot cyclists.
I got knocked down by a car on a separated cycle lane once. The driver pulled over without checking.

Actually that is a good point, cars and cyclists using the same junctions will always allow errors to be made. So even if we were separated along carriageways 99% of my close incidents would have probably still have happened.
