  • Came across HJ years ago (must have been around 2006 if memory serves), but only now was in the market for some of their goodies. Decided against a purchase after two unanswered emails, 3 phone calls, all that I have read of bad experiences here, and a price hike of somewhere between 20-25% (whilst I've been waiting for a response, indicating to me that someone at HJ is at work, but not responding to emails). It's not been long that I've been waiting (first email sent Friday afternoon, and it is now close of business on Wednesday) but long enough, even for a 'we're super swamped at the mo, we'll get back to you' email, plus the last thing I want is stress from ordering items that are supposed to bring me joy (in the form of time on my bike - I don't mean the act of purchasing!) - if they can't reply to emails or answer the phone, why would I put an order through? Anyway, I decided to purchase elsewhere. It's a shame, as I always try and give my business to the littler folks.

    Just putting this out there for anyone that cares, potential customers or owners of HJ.
