I have a lovely 55cm square track frame, repainted before I bought it in blue with "rainbow sparkle". It rides beautifully, it's in great condition, I never ride it...
Rather than let it sit there making me sad, I am hoping to swap for a high quality road frame I can build up instead. I'm open as to offers on frame material, i just want something in good condition (ideally with headset) that i can put a modern groupset on (probably ultegra 6800) and take to the alps in three weeks.
The frame i'm offering comes with a good condition dura ace headset (can't recall if it is the NJS one, will check tonight). It is drilled, not by me but by the previous owner, so will take a front brake only (short reach). It also has ever so slight compression on the rear stays, where a clamp-on rear brake was used (again, by the previous owner).
Clearances are lovely and tight, painting is hand finished with details everywhere.
Will supply with shimano octalink BB if required.
What I'm looking for? Open to offers, but 55 or 56cm square or equivalent road frame, "something nice"????
