what became of the watch in the charity shop window?

i phoned every charity shop in london asking about the watch in the window and got nowhere.

Sorry, I was trying to be secretive as it was in my local charity shop in Edinburgh. Some other bastard had gone in and beaten me to it. They didn't say ho much he paid as it was offers.
