Reminder!!!
The annual midweek slackers watching of a mountain stage of the TDF is set for Tuesday the 22nd. Stage 16. http://www.letour.fr/le-tour/2014/us/stage-16.html
TDF. Mountains. Beer. Talk utter bollocks face to face instead of on the thread.
Table booked starting at 12:30. They are supposed to be getting back to me on whether they can get ITV4 (although they have done it in the past). The backup plan is to run it off an iPad and stream it on Eurosport.
Table booked for 10 people so if there will be more that would be great to know. Which of you are joining the Slackfest?
***Cough!
On for a 1pm arrival myself.

How does Geraint find himself at the epicentre of all the crashes?
When he was associated with those Bioflow wristband things, he made the rookie mistake of not regularly alternating which wrist he wore it on. This therefore caused an imbalance of energy into one half of his body, resulting in it being much harder to balance on a bicycle.
Now, an experienced athelete would wear two; one on each wrist, with the exception of swimmers, who should really wear 4 (on each limb).

Voeckler won a stage in Bagnères de Luchon twice, I think he'll try and go for it today. Looking forward to his face gymnastics; he'll be determined, especially after being booed (by those ever so rude Dutch) earlier ;-)
he's not in the break though, after 50km. currently Eisel-Kiryenka-Izaguirre-Rogers-Kwiatkowski-Montaguti-Serpa-Roy-Reza-Albasini-Kluge- Delaplace

Reckon there's much talking going on between the Sky guys and Rogers in the break?

4? that would cause too much balance meaning they would sink.

He is now.
Hopefully Slagter can do something today to justify his selection in my fantasy team. I'm not holding out great hope though.

I'd just quit.

I work for myself. My boss is a real dick... pretty handsome and funny though.

Joe's furniture. He'd be there anyway.
...It made my skin crawl: he talks like people like they're furniture. Adam and Simon, stay away.
Is TS going to Sky as some sort of sofa project?

It would be great to see Jeremy Roy win, after he was pipped to that stage in 2011.

Hope for Kwiatio to finish at least in the top ten... Too bad he can't really manage his climbing skills

That sounds like a manager in a performance review. Translation: he keeps falling off?

Wait, when did he fall? I just have a lot of sympathy for that team.

It would indeed. That was a great break. Unfortunately he made it into my fantasy team, and as such will not stand a chance this time.

Surprised Kwiatkowski was allowed to go. Rocketing up the GC.

Yeah, If I was in that break, I certainly wouldn't want him there with me.
Strong breakaway if it sticks - should be a good 'un today
