BVB don't need him, they already have replacements, and frankly are pretty much at the peak of what they can achieve.
Southhampton are losing all their good players, and don't need the money, or to sell to a rival.
You can't just directly compare two players prices, and even if you did, you can't assume Hummels wants to go to Liverpool. While we are getting back to where we were 10 years ago, we are hardly locked on for CL spots.
