Butchered wheels, seatpost, saddle and pedals from pompetamine and went to get bb7's. Cassette is 12-30 Tiagra, should be enough for most of the stuff with compact double, or atleast i hope so. UPS guy called, getting frame delivered tomorrow \o/
...Hopefully my headset and RD comes tomorrow too.
edit: and sorry for the potato pics, ill try to get better ones outside once i get it complete

boooooooooom
First 60 miles down, feels good man.
Need to chop the steerer tube, and maybe try 11cm stem and setback seat post. Other than that, is good.

Thanks! Kojaks are 35c. Ridden just over 1000km with those, and i just love em. Roll nice and suck all the small bumps and vibrations nicely <3

Makko, what size frame is this?
This is medium size.
Went to LBS and loaned a setback seatpost, now i only need to get more miles to see if i need to change anything, but for now it feels pretty good.

Thanks, its size Medium.
This is what it looks now with the steerer chopped and setback seatpost in.
I already hate that one-bolt seat post, so i might have to get thomson or something later this year. Also have plans to build up new wheelset with dynamohub in front to juice up my phone/gps.
E: And i need a new saddle, my legs go numb after few hours in the saddle in that.

How much power does a front hub produce, is it really enough to charge gadgets?
-
• #22
Haven't really studied those yet, i've just seen setups like that so i know it's doable. Alfine hub gives out 3 watts in ~15kmh speed, not sure about more expensive hubs like SON.

psee's project thread gave me ideas...not sure if i should or not

CycloXKings in 42mm. Felt so damn weird to not have suspension and wide riser bars out there.

Looks awesome!
Hello everyone.
Been getting into long(er) distance cycling this year, and while my ss-pompetamine has been okay for the job, i want to upgrade to something with nicer geo and for something that takes "normal" gears, and also i need pompetamine for commuter duties later this year so in comes need for that n+1 again. Was looking through few different frames, but then i noticed purple escapade on cotic's yard sale for cheap so i just had to grab it. This gonna be my brevet/light touring/roadie/whatever bike, so it's probably gonna see different builds along the way.
Frame and some parts are on their way, gonna take some parts from the pompetamine for now and upgrade/swap parts some time later. Gonna send some piccies when i get my stuff and get it built.
