It is quite important for us to keep a record of the numbers of people and money collected. At the end of the year we will be in a much stronger position to apply for funding if we have the empirical data to back it up. It would be great if we can ask for funding for lights, boards, new nets stanchions whatever. "Last year over 2000 people played here, and with new lights (equipment) we can increase that figure to 4000..." etc etc.
