I suppose the only defence I can make is that these people are walking in the middle of the road/stepping into the road without looking, and it isn't apparent in the film that we are calling to them warning that we are coming up behind.

in the first video the rider appears to pass COMPTONS bar on the left and the company RUSHES on the right.

there is a no entry sign at the beginning of this section of old compton street.
