  • Anyone making tracks for Edinburgh this August?

  • hey yeah will be doing the fringe first two weeks.
    eightball69 is doing comedy up there, looking forward to it!

  • If at all possible I'll be going up for the last few days. I'd like to catch on of my sister's shows. If anyone is going I sincerely advise you to check her show out;

    themuffia.co.uk

    and they are doing a preview show in Manchester this Thursday;

    Hello Muff fans,

    Please come and see the premier of our new comedy show ‘Tight Women’ before taking it to the Edinburgh fringe.

    not our words...

    Its dead funny actually. It features two deluded ladies who believe themselves to be presenting an afternoon talk show, when they are in fact just sitting talking about their sexual fantasies down Camden market.

    Not only are they well dressed and amusing, but Sinead and Katie are both bloody gorgeous, so if you’ve got any sense, boys and girls, you’ll come down and try and bag off with them in the bar afterwards. (But then again, they told me I needed therapy for sex and love addiction, so what do I know?)

    WHEN? The 30th July thursday 2009. 7.30 pm

    WHERE? Green room arts centre, Whitworth street Manchester.

    OW MUCH? A pathetic three quid.

    And a few little words from us....

    There 2 more shows on also.

    If you'd like to Sponsor us and you can't make it to Edinburgh, buy a ticket from the fringe box office, it will help us to keep going!

    Show title The Muffia:Tight Woman

    If you go and see the show, tell them "I know your brother William" and you'll get a free smile and probably a "oh right, so how do you know my brother then" retort. DONT MISS OUT!

  • Cool! What's eightball6's show called?

  • anyone bringing their bikes?

  • Make sure you've all had your tea..
    Awful place

  • Orbital! Derrick May!!! Loadsa neds!!!! http://www.ents24.com/web/event/1703473/EH1_Music_Festival.html

  • Yeah my mates were talking about going to EH1. Worth putting up with swedge fueled neds, to see Orbital play live.

    Which one are you in the flyer man? Yeah, mind and bring the bikes!

  • these few weeks are my holiday OFF bikes, looking forward to hiking/running around Pentlands though, taking in a bit of culture.

  • Sound. Well enjoy it lads.

  • In case you guys thought that two weeks was too long without your bike and brought them, this courier event is happening this weekend. Give us a shout if you wanna fire along.

  • TRAIN TICKETS

    I've purchased 2 train tickets to get up to the Edinburgh festival on the Bank holiday weekend (two nights). We booked the tickets in haste as we would prefer to spend our time elsewhere.

    Question: The tickets are print-your-own and have our names and last four digit card numbers on. They are also non-refundable. Is there anyway for others to use them so we could resell them? They cost under £140 for two people so quite cheap considering.
    .

  • Assuming you aren't using a student railcard or similar which has your photo on it, you'd get away with it as they don't check identity when travelling by train. As long as the ticket is valid for the journey undertaken then that's all that matters.

  • Thanks Yoav, no discount or railcards were used in the purchase. I'll start a sale tread so.

  • I'm heading to Edinburgh for a days work on the 31st, but not coming back until the 3rd - anyone have any suggestions? Will be bringing my road bike.
