That's really really nice. Would make such a good fast touring rig... Wish this had come up a couple of months ago before I went for a french touring frame!
My training ride has an Olagnero frame and they're beautifully made. Lots of attention to detail and a really top quality finish. They had some amazing builders in their books, including Vanni Losa (Cinelli and Magni to name a few). Their paint tends to be beautiful too, and really long-lasting. A lot of it was done by Carlos Dossena who made the rounds in Milan for all the big names and boutique workshops - he produced some incredible stuff.
Sorry to go on, always get excited when an Olagnero pops up!
This is an absolute bargain for someone considering the workshop's pedigree and the quality of the frame, best of luck with the sale. If it's still kicking about in a few days I'll probably have to take it, for now though I'm trying to resist! -

yep a beauty! super rare to find an Italian tourer too imo, possibly for the German market? Anyways, a bargain, if it was me I'd get decals made up in yellow, carbon post, brown turbo saddle, modern campag triple groupo, nitto technomic/noodle... getting carried away....must.....resist....

Hope you don't mind me bumping this. I was looking for a touring frame recently and remembered this so messaged caveatgez to see if it was still kicking around. Being the lovely guy that he is he agreed to sell it on to me for £50.
It is really, really nice. Fork crown in particular is lovely, and love all the little touches on it.
Anyway, the seatpost turned out to be steel, so can't be cut or 'dissolved' out. I took it winston vaz and he recommended heating it up to dislodge it, and quoted me £40 to remove the seatpost as well as the two stuck bolts (left rear mudguard eye, right downtube shifter mount) with heat. Unfortunately, this would also remove the paint in those areas (around half seattube plus areas surrounding bolts).
SO with all that in mind, and with a heavy heart, I'm gonna sell it on for what I paid. Anyone want a tidy frame and a great project for £50?

I still have this! Someone please take it. Just to add to the options, I got in touch with the Seatpost Man last week who quoted me £80+P&P with no damage to the paintwork, plus an extra £50 to remove the two stuck bolts. Happy to let it go for £40 -> sold!

The lovely Sterobe picked this up yesterday - looking forward to seeing what they do with it. Here’s hoping it finally gets repaired and ridden! Thanks for the interest everyone else.
I'm moving flat in a few weeks and need to move things on that have been sat around for too long. First up is this Italian Olagnero frame and forks. It's constructed from Columbus Aelle tubing, which though no SLX is not without charm. The frame is 56cm square, measured c-c.
The frame has the elegant features you'd expect of an Olagnero; heart-shaped lugs, shot-in seatstays and a slender fork crown. It also has more utilitarian qualities not to be sniffed at; braze-ons for both mudguards and a rack and double water cage bosses.
However, the frame is not without issue...
With a little bit of time this could become a great touring/commuting frame, ready for some summer/autumn touring. I just don't have the time/space to do it myself.
I am after only £65 for this, which I think is reasonable enough. Preferably collected from Camberwell though I am happy to meet within reason.
Thanks, any questions - just ask!
