Do you reckon they make them non-biodegradable to discourage people from slinging them away? There must be a degradable material they could be made of, but maybe then people would always huzz them in hedges rather than taking them home.

I was wondering this too. Got quite irritated by the end. Bastards. I think they're made of light foil so probably not biodegradable.
