then the people wearing rucksacks. i couldn't help but feel sorry for them as well. i was just like whywhywhywhy WHY?!. putting yourself through that much discomfort to carry a rucksack is mental in my opinion. what was so important that couldn't fit in a jersey pocket? i just don't get that either.
My Vaude day pack is very comfortable, I hardly noticed it most of the time. We were expecting possible heavy rain, and I was concerned about my stoker complaining of wet feet so I had an entire roll of paper towel and several spare pairs of socks. Spare lights, two rain jackets, batteries, fig rolls, towels, flippers, snorkel, first aid kit, satellite phone and a small inflatable dingy.
