I left a tube at the side of the road.
I still feel guilty.
It was as the sun was coming up, about 20 miles from Dunwich. It was my third puncture. I had to blag a tube. I finished changing it, rode away and realised about 10 miles later I'd not picked up the old tube.
I seriously considered going back, but with just 10 miles to go I couldn't force my legs to turn me round. It seems deliriously tired me isn't as conscientious as rested me.
Karma got me back though. We decided to ride to Stowmarket to get the train home and rolled in at 9.19. The train had left at 9.18 and the next one wasn't until 11.18.
For the forseeable future I will pick up and dispose of every bit of litter I see.
