Hi, i'm Yasin and i'm french. I'm the happy owner a nice Daccordi Furioso road bike, yeah i'm not really into FG or SS but still like the simplicity and the look of them, so i hope to help as much as possible.

I even read all of it. And i don't think i fit in any of the categories detailed (recognise probably everyone thinks that)
I have drifted by here over the years and kind of figure I know accepted behaviours.
OK with waiting my 24 hrs, no hurry.
And finally decided to get involved 'coz some stuff was for sale on here that i NEED(?) (& can finally afford)
Hope that's OK -

Hi guys,
Probably it will be the longest introduction in this forum, but hey, you asked for it!
Im coming as a fresh newbie to bikes. From a totaly different community full of cocky and selfish old farts, who thinks they are center of the world. Since internet ruined my sense of humour + my russian atitude I might be rough around the edges sometimes. But at the same time Im dedicated to people who create community. I can get trough myself if its needed for everyones better. My opinion is my castle which im prepared to defend till death, but I also can wave a white flag if im on a wrong side. Impatient, so I want everything NOW!
I know that newbies need to use more search so sorry in advance if I'l miss something. Almost forgot - another - "stuck in Londen" scenario here :)
From what I saw when lurking around - you are the guys I would like to stick with.
Thats it for now, off to post few more posts to start my journey into the bikes.
P.S. This post will be a measure point so in a year time i will come back to check how far i got.Get yourself on to the rides and races thread and join some rides, it opens a lot more of the community up to you

Hi, I'm skim. Moved from the states about two weeks ago for work. Analysed traffic patterns for about a week, then decided to give commuting a go this past week and so far so good. London drivers seem more accommodating than drivers in the states.
Look forward to riding with you guys.

Hey, hows it goin? New on here, I'm from Ireland, do a good bit of road riding on my Genesis Aether, have done a bit of SS and Fixed riding with my brother on his bikes, but only for a laugh, nothin serious as I've no skill on them! I nearly die each time I'm on them!
Love riding his bikes and hope to build a few of my own.
Restoring a couple of oldies atm, a 1940/50's Claud and a 1970/80's Raleigh Clubman.
I'll start a project page when I've enough posts.
Looking forward to enjoying the forum. -

Hello, Marc here. Road bike rider for the past 5 years mainly commuting through Central London and riding the odd sportive. Had my bike nicked and decided to try out single speed. Got myself a Giant Bowery 72 2009 model and loving it so far. I've seen some brutal comments on posts in here and think I'm going to like it!
