You should move the stem to the top of the spacer stack and flip it down, it should keep the bar height at about the same level.

The build would also suit a 'slimline' saddle better in my opinion.

Cheers - will play around with the stem, got it for peanuts in a CRC sale I think, would prefer something black and less obnoxious... keeping an eye on classified for something that will fit. Saddle is something I bought for my GF's bike and she didn't get on with it, might actually have something black and slimmer that came stock with my genesis. Didn't particularly find this one that comfortable anyway so was thinking about switching...
